Topics include techniques of carved and painted wildfowl carvings and business and marketing strategies. An orientation that includes safety procedures is given by the instructor before the class starts. The instructor will provide a supply list for the students.

Section Info: Online | Drawing | Improve your drawing skills by learning basic visual tools like the rules of thumb, relational measurement, and simplified measuring systems. The course includes exercises to enhance your drawing abilities. Students can choose to draw posted images or their own selections, primarily using pencils and charcoal, with optional watercolor pastels. Section Info: South County | Multimedia Drawing Studio Practice | Develop your artistic skills, personal style and understanding of color theory, composition, creation of depth, texture and historical styles of art covered in the introductory Colored Pencil Drawing course. Students are encouraged to continue exploring wax, oil, watercolor, pastel and other types of colored pencil combined with various drawing and painting media such as pen and ink, markers, watercolor, acrylics and other mixed media techniques for enhanced and varied effects. Intermediate to advanced students are welcome.

Section Info: Online | Painting | No class May 22 | Learn to improve your painting skills with oils, watercolor, pastels or acrylic and to draw as a prerequisite to the painting. Section Info: Pascal Senior Center | Acrylic Painting | All levels welcome! Hone drawing, planning, and composition, then master a three step acrylic method that prevents muddy color. Demos and critiques guide you through personal or instructor provided subjects and invite bold experiments in pen, ink, collage, and mixed media.
