HTH-939 ANSR-Seated Tai Chi

Section Info: Annapolis Senior Center | Intermediate Tai Chi | No class May 25 | This seated Tai Chi class offers a gentle program for mental and physical wellbeing, based on the Yang Style Simplified Short Form taught by Master Cheng Man-Ch'ing. Designed for those who have difficulty standing or use a wheelchair, the class uses slow, smooth movements and deep breathing. Often called "meditation in motion," seated Tai Chi supports cardiovascular and immune health, joint comfort, balance, mental clarity, improved mood, and reduced anxiety.
