Section Info: Arnold | Watercolors Beginning | Acquaint students with basic elements of watercolor as an art form. Use of line drawings and defining various watercolor applications and techniques will be covered along with discussion of color theory and color mixing. Matting, framing and preservation of work will be discussed. Critiques upon completion of painting projects. Identifying market outlets. Section Info: South County | Multimedia Drawing Studio Practice | Develop your artistic skills, personal style and understanding of color theory, composition, creation of depth, texture and historical styles of art covered in the introductory Colored Pencil Drawing course. Students are encouraged to continue exploring wax, oil, watercolor, pastel and other types of colored pencil combined with various drawing and painting media such as pen and ink, markers, watercolor, acrylics and other mixed media techniques for enhanced and varied effects. Intermediate to advanced students are welcome.
