Section Info: Severn Senior Center | Drawing and Painting | Participants will complete several art projects of their own choosing, such as still life, portrait, and landscape, in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. No previous art experience is required. Drawing basics such as line, value, light and shadow, linear perspective, and portrait proportions will be covered using pencil, eraser and drawing paper. Color basics such as primary, secondary, tertiary, complementary, and neutral colors, tint, tone, and shade will be covered using acrylic paint and oil pastel on drawing paper.

Section Info: South County Senior Center | Fundamentals of Guitar | Learn the essentials of acoustic guitar playing, including how to strum and/or pluck with basic chord changes and how to play simple one-line melodies. Explore the history and evolution of the acoustic guitar, pick up common guitar terminology and slang, and have plenty of opportunities to ask questions as you build confidence and skill. Section Info: Annapolis Senior Center | Build upon skills acquired in Introduction to Window 10 and 11. Review common Windows elements, examine system properties, organizing folders and manipulating folders while working in a Windows application. Practice restoring deleted files, renaming files, protecting data as well as disk management. Prerequisite: Completing CTT-928 Introduction to Computers recommended or permission of instruction.
