Section Info: Severn Senior Center | Drawing and Painting | Participants will complete several art projects of their own choosing, such as still life, portrait, and landscape, in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. No previous art experience is required. Drawing basics such as line, value, light and shadow, linear perspective, and portrait proportions will be covered using pencil, eraser and drawing paper. Color basics such as primary, secondary, tertiary, complementary, and neutral colors, tint, tone, and shade will be covered using acrylic paint and oil pastel on drawing paper.
