LGS-217 Constitutional Law

Examine the United States Constitution and Bill of Rights. Analyze cases focusing on governmental powers and limitations, due process, free speech, privacy rights and religious freedoms and apply these concepts to today's constitutional issues. Note: This course is not considered a legal specialty course for the purpose of earning legal specialty credits in the Paralegal Studies Program. However, it may be applied as a general elective in the Paralegal Studies Program as noted in the program description. Please see an advisor before registering for this course. Credit will not be given for LGS 217 and also CJS 217.
