Learn the fundamentals of AC and DC motor types commonly found in industry along with their related control technologies. Explore specifications, operation, starting, braking, overload protection, basic troubleshooting, and variable frequency drives. Demonstrate comprehension through hands-on labs while exercising proper industry safety procedures. Lab fee $30. Prerequisite: EET 130 or permission of engineering department chair.
