Section Info: Online | Chinese Calligraphy | Chinese calligraphy is a refined art form with five main styles, from informal to elegant. Characters express balance, proportion, and rhythm through precise stroke order and spacing. Influenced by Zen Buddhism and Taoism, the practice is meditative. Students will also explore exhibition opportunities and potential markets for their work. | Note: Attendance in online class sessions Tuesdays from 9-11 a.m. is mandatory for section 313.
