Section Info: Online | Healing Arts Level 1 | No class Nov. 26 | A range of healing arts topics will be covered including alternative, complementary, holistic, integrative, mind-body, wellness, and world medicine. An overview of natural health foods, specialized diets and nutritional supplements is covered. Also included are self-healing practices of mindfulness meditation, journaling, reflective writing, plus intuitive and creative arts. Subtle energy therapies covered include homeopathy, herbs, essential oils, aroma therapy, acupuncture, bodywork and hands healing, plus Yoga, Tai Chi, Qigong, and subtle energy movement exercise practices. Note: Attendance in online class sessions Thursdays from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. is mandatory for section 901.
