Section Info: South County Senior Center | Core Conditioning | No class October 28 and November 11 | We slow down to focus on deep stretches and core exercises, strengthening the lumbar region of the back. The class includes sitting and standing chair workouts, teaching proper core engagement for raising and lowering into a chair without straining the lower back. You will learn which muscles to activate and avoid using the lower back incorrectly. Each session is unique, so you will never get bored with the same routine.
