New Student Orientation
The orientation program is designed to ease your transition into the college and prepare you for academic, social and personal success. Each orientation session is designed to meet your needs, regardless of your age or previous college attendance.

- High school graduates learn how to set realistic academic expectations and when and how to access student support services.
- Adult students and Veterans learn about campus resources that can help you meet academic rigors while considering the various roles and responsibilities confronting you at home and at work.
- Jump Start students learn about the college environment and the differences between high school and college classes.
- If you have attended other post-secondary institutions, the value of attending an AACC orientation is that you learn how to navigate our system.
