Section Info: Omalley Senior Center | Drawing | The drawing workshop is a group study of shared creative drawing interests. Each class, students will be engaged in exploring drawing with pencil, charcoal, colored pencil and more. The instructor will guide, discuss, and critique. Participants will explore, share and converse over creative ideas while nourishing their own weekly project.

Section Info: Online | Acrylic Painting | This course is designed to guide you through the history of acrylics, set up, product essentials and technique. We will delve into creating magnificent paintings quickly and easily with direction, individuality, and imagination. We will also expand into marketing and sales of art on and offline. | Note: Attendance in online class sessions Tuesdays from 2-4 p.m. is mandatory for section 305.

CRE-912 PASD-Acrylics

Section Info: Pasadena Senior Center | Acrylics | In this class, students will learn skills to paint a variety of nature scenes on elements from nature including rocks, driftwood, oysters shells, crab shells and more. Advanced and beginner students are welcome. Class is designed to be a relaxing and fun exploration of painting and art! Please come to the first session to see examples of painted elements and discuss supplies. Acrylic paints and brushes are required for this class. All nature elements will be provided by the instructor.

Section Info: Pasadena Senior Center | One Stroke Painting | Designed for experienced students, this class deepens practice of One Stroke techniques including flat, U, daisy, bud, teardrop, petal, shell, and leaf strokes. Materials, marketing, and selling finished projects are also discussed. Supply needs are reviewed in the first session; purchasing beforehand is not recommended.

Practice restoring deleted files, renaming files, protecting data as well as disk management. Prerequisite: Completing CTT-928 Introduction to Computers recommended or permission of instruction.

Learn to communicate with doctors, set up an email account and stay safe while online. Note: Access to an iPad, Chrome notebook or desktop will be available in class. Students are welcome to bring a personal device.
