Section Info: Note: Section 201 is hybrid with mandatory face-to-face meetings from 8 a.m.-1:20 p.m. on Saturdays, April 18 and May 2 at Broadneck Park, April 25 at the AACC Arnold campus forest and May 9 at the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center. Advanced and beginner students are welcome. Class is designed to be a relaxing and fun exploration of painting and art! Please come to the first session to see examples of painted elements and discuss supplies. Acrylic paints and brushes are required for this class. All nature elements will be provided by the instructor.

Each character expresses a moment through balance, proportion, and rhythm. Strokes follow a specific order, with even spacing and consistent sizing. The simplicity and meditative quality stem from Zen Buddhism and Taoism.
