Students will learn how to evaluate reference images and gain confidence with a three-step approach to watercolor. Techniques to avoid muddy colors will be covered, with demos and critiques to help students refine their work. Students will paint their own subjects or images chosen by the instructor, working from photographs and encouraged to take creative risks. | Note: Attendance in online class sessions Tuesdays from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. is mandatory for section 205.

Section Info: Pascal Senior Center | Watercolors | Open to all levels, this workshop sharpens drawing, composition, and image selection skills, then applies a three step watercolor method to boost confidence and banish muddy color. Live demos and group critiques guide you in tackling your own subjects or instructor images, while encouraging bold experiments with pen, ink, collage, or acrylic. We will also explore local art venues and sales potential. Note: Supply lists come at Session 1- please hold off buying materials until then and try to attend the kickoff class.
