CRE-912 ASRC-Watercolors Beginning

Section Info: Arnold | Watercolors Beginning | Acquaint students with basic elements of watercolor as an art form. Use of line drawings and defining various watercolor applications and techniques will be covered along with discussion of color theory and color mixing. Matting, framing and preservation of work will be discussed. Critiques upon completion of painting projects. Identifying market outlets. A supply list available at the Senior Center Information Desk.

CRE-912 ASRC-Watercolors Intermediate

Section Info: Arnold | Watercolors Intermediate | This class moves at a faster pace and uses more challenging designs and techniques than Beginning Watercolor. We'll be using line drawings, students own subject matter from photographs, or their own drawings. Application/demonstration of additional watercolor mediums and additives. Matting, framing and preservation of work will be discussed. Critiques upon completion of painting projects. Identifying market outlets. CRE-912 COSR-Watercolors Beginning/Int

Section Info: Omalley | Watercolors Beginning/Intermediate | This course will acquaint students with basic approaches for working in watercolor. Plan to arrive at the first session with the supplies. The instructor will provide instructions on how to layer paint to build your painting. We will discuss color properties and color mixing. Daily critiques will be provided as projects evolve.
