Explore the fixation of histology specimens. Prepare specimens for embedding using microtome techniques. Continue with learning the morphology, anatomy, and histology of all tissues in the body. Continue with advanced staining techniques used in the histology laboratory. Prepare advanced tissue specimens for microscopic examinations, including all advanced procedures. Identify tissue structures and their staining characteristics. Lab fee $270. Prerequsite: HTC 101 with a grade of C or better. Corequisite: HTC 204 and HTC 201LB.
