MDA-114 Diseases of the Human Body

Investigate disease pathology and appropriate terminology. Discuss disorders that affect the whole body, such as immune disorders and neoplasms; thereafter, diseases that primarily affect a specific body system such as cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, renal, and dermatologic disorders. Focus on definition, causes when appropriate, signs and symptoms, clinical findings, treatment, and aspects of patient teaching. Prerequisite: MDA 113.
