Learn, through slide lectures and studio demonstrations, the basic concepts and techniques associated with drawing and painting portraits. Work from a model to develop and refine skills. Study anatomical structure of the head and upper torso, facial features, capturing a likeness and composition. Lab fee $70. Prerequisite: ART 125 or permission of department chair.
