ACH-205 Residential Studio

Explore the principles and elements of designing complex residential projects for varying occupants. Create residences that are organized for comfort and safety, applying residential building codes including mechanical, electrical and lighting requirements. Design kitchens and baths following National Kitchen and Bath Association standards. Review construction techniques for new construction and remodeling. Use industry standard software to create professional construction documents and presentations. Lab fee $40. Prerequisite: ACH 104 and ACH 202 or permission of department chair.
