Section Info: Online | Road to Resiliency (Mat and Chair Yoga) | Our trauma-informed yoga class helps ease pain caused by emotional, mental, or physical trauma, which the body remembers even if we don't. New research shows how trauma impacts us and what we can do with that experience. Benefits include strengthening the vagus nerve, creating new neural pathways, improving self-awareness, self-care, and self-love. The class also helps manage stress and pain. Students are encouraged to bring a notebook and pen for journaling activities.
