ANNOUNCEMENTS

Walk-in Advising resumes
Monday, December 1, 2008 through Tuesday, January 27, 2009

If you are a new student who has never before enrolled in Anne Arundel Community College, please contact our Admissions Office, 410-777-2246, located in Room 22 of the Student Services Center or visit us online at Admissions to complete an admissions application.

If you have been admitted to the college we strongly encourage you to meet with your advisor prior to registering for courses as it will ensure that you have more time to make good decisions. To locate the name of your advisor, please visit "Who Is My Advisor?"

If you need information regarding walk-in advising and appointment advising please visit our Advising Sessions page.

If you are a current student, MyAACC has many valuable resources to assist you during your time here at Anne Arundel Community College. Through MyAACC you can check out your personalized academic and financial profile, register for classes, request grade reports, transcripts, program evaluations PDF, and make a payment!

Each term the Pathways to Success Workshop PDF series is offered on study skills, self-exploration, career decision-making, transfer planning, job searching, and online college resources. The workshops are free; however, some do require registration.

If you have previously registered at AACC and are officially enrolled in a certificate or degree program, then take the guesswork out of registering for classes and learn how to use the Course Planning Wizard. This new self-advising and registration tool will be available through MyAACC for you to use in early April for summer registration. The Wizard will suggest courses and let you register for those courses that best fit your needs based on your program of study. To learn how to use the Wizard, plan to attend one of the Course Planning Wizard Workshops or if you cannot attend a workshop, please refer to the Course Planning Wizard Instruction PDF materials.

If you are undecided about a program of study, please see our college catalog.

If you know where you'd like to study but aren't sure how to get there, please visit Transfer Services

For more information, please contact Bonnie J. Garrett, Director.
