Counseling, Advising and Retention Services

APPOINTMENT ADVISING has resumed at the Arnold campus and AMIL locations. Appointments are always required at GBTC (via OASIS) and Fort Meade (call 410-672-2117).

Counseling, Advising and Retention Services (CARS) offers academic advising, counseling, educational workshops, career coaching and more. Think of CARS as the vehicle that gets you to your academic and career goals. Find out how we can help you!

Select Self Services>Academic Life>Planning Resources>Evaluate Program Progress.

To meet with an academic advisor you will need your AACC ID#.

Arnold Campus June Appointment Advising Hours:
Monday – Thursday: 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Friday – 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Saturday  – Student Services Offices CLOSED on Saturdays in June.

Beginning July 5 and through August 31, 2016, Arnold will move to all walk-ins. Students must arrive one hour prior to closing to ensure they will be seen.

Arundel Mills June Appointment Advising Hours:
Monday – Thursday: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Friday – 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Saturday  – Student Services Offices CLOSED on Saturdays in June

Glen Burnie Town Center:  Advising sessions are always by appointment:

Fort Meade Advising:

  • Until renovations are completed, advising has been moved to AMIL.
