IMPORTANT: You MUST complete a graduation application if you wish to receive your certificate/associate degree, regardless if you will attend the spring commencement ceremony.
When to apply:

One graduation fee must be paid for each degree/certificate. Graduation applications are good for only one term. Students who do not qualify in the term for which they apply will be required to reapply, but will not have to pay another $20 graduation fee.
Two Ways to Apply:
- MyAACC--If you have a valid MyAACC account, you are strongly encouraged to apply for graduation online (MyAACC> Self Services> Submit Graduation Application). If you apply online, you will receive an instant email receipt with important information once you submit your online application.
- Paper--Completed paper applications MUST be submitted to the Records and Registration Office. If you apply using a paper graduation applicationPDF, you will be sent a letter via postal mail within two weeks confirming the receipt of your application, indicating when the application will be reviewed and you will be provided information regarding diploma receipt and ceremony information.
Commencement Ceremony: The college graduates students three times a year (spring, summer and fall), but has only one commencement ceremony a year in the spring.
Diplomas: Spring 2013 diplomas were mailed June 21. Summer 2013 diplomas will be mailed September 15, 2013 and summer graduation will be certified/notated on transcripts September 3, 2013.
Graduation Honors: Graduation honors will be accorded to associate degree recipients whose adjusted cumulative GPAs are as follows:
3.4 to 3.59--cum laude
3.6 to 3.79--magna cum laude
3.8 to 4.0--summa cum laude
Phi Theta Kappa: Graduates who have been inducted into the Omicron Theta chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society will have a golden PTK seal on their diplomas (for fall 2012). After fall 2012, graduates who have been inducted into the Omicron Theta chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society will have a written notation of Phi Theta Kappa on the diploma and a golden seal will no longer be used.
