IMPORTANT: You MUST complete a graduation application if you wish to receive your certificate/associate degree, regardless if you will attend the spring commencement ceremony.
When to apply:

Each degree or certificate for which you apply requires a separate payment of $20.00. If you previously applied for graduation and did not complete the requirements, you do not have to pay another $20.00 fee; however you must complete/submit another graduation application by the deadline.
Two Ways to Apply:
- MyAACC--If you have a valid MyAACC account, you are strongly encouraged to apply for graduation online (MyAACC> Menu> Self Services> Credit Students> Academic Profile> Graduation Application). If you apply online, you will receive an instant email receipt with important information once you submit your online application.
- Paper--Completed paper applications MUST be submitted to the Records and Registration Office. If you apply using a paper graduation applicationPDF, you will be sent a letter via postal mail within two weeks confirming the receipt of your application, indicating when the application will be reviewed and you will be provided information regarding diploma receipt and ceremony information.
Commencement Ceremony: The college graduates students three times a year (spring, summer and fall), but has only ONE commencement ceremony a year in the spring. Information regarding the spring 2017 commencement ceremony will be mailed early-March 2017 to summer and fall 2016 graduates and prospective spring 2017 graduates. The commencement information sent in early-March 2017 is time sensitive, with cap/gown purchasing deadlines. The actual date of spring 2017 ceremony has not yet been confirmed.
Diplomas: Notation of spring 2016 graduation will be reflected on transcripts June 15, 2016. Diplomas will be mailed June 30 30, 2016 to all spring 2016 graduates.
Graduation Honors: Graduation honors will be awarded to associate degree recipients whose adjusted cumulative GPAs are as follows:
3.4 to 3.59--cum laude
3.6 to 3.79--magna cum laude
3.8 to 4.0--summa cum laude
Phi Theta Kappa and Chi Alpha Epsilon: Graduates who have been inducted into the Omicron Theta chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and/or the Epsilon Chi chapter of the Chi Alpha Epsilon Honor Society will have a written notation on their diplomas.
