The commencement ceremony take place Thursday, May 26, 2016, rain or shine, under a large tent on the Athletic Practice Field at the Arnold campus.
The following information was mailed early March 2016 to summer 2015 and fall 2015 graduates and spring 2016 graduation applicants.
April 6-May 6 Graduates and graduation applicants* may pick up announcements, invitations, tickets and may purchase cap/gown.
*Spring 2016 graduation applicants may not purchase cap/gown or pick up announcements/ invitations/tickets until they receive a graduation status letter specifically stating "you are eligible to purchase your cap and gown."
IMPORTANT: You MUST complete a graduation application if you wish to receive your certificate/associate degree, regardless if you will attend the spring commencement ceremony.
When to apply:

Each degree or certificate for which you apply requires a separate payment of $20.00. If you previously applied for graduation and did not complete the requirements, you do not have to pay another $20.00 fee; however you must complete/submit another graduation application by the deadline.
Two Ways to Apply:
- MyAACC--If you have a valid MyAACC account, you are strongly encouraged to apply for graduation online (MyAACC> Menu> Self Services> Credit Students> Academic Profile> Graduation Application). If you apply online, you will receive an instant email receipt with important information once you submit your online application.
- Paper--Completed paper applications MUST be submitted to the Records and Registration Office. If you apply using a paper graduation applicationPDF, you will be sent a letter via postal mail within two weeks confirming the receipt of your application, indicating when the application will be reviewed and you will be provided information regarding diploma receipt and ceremony information.
Commencement Ceremony: The college graduates students three times a year (spring, summer and fall), but has only ONE commencement ceremony a year in the spring. Information regarding the spring 2016 commencement ceremony was mailed early-March 2016 to summer and fall 2015 graduates and prospective spring 2016 graduates. The commencement information sent in early-March 2016 is time sensitive, with cap/gown purchasing deadlines.
Diplomas: Notation of spring 2016 graduation will be reflected on transcripts June 15, 2016. Diplomas will be mailed June 30 30, 2016 to all spring 2016 graduates.
Graduation Honors: Graduation honors will be awarded to associate degree recipients whose adjusted cumulative GPAs are as follows:
3.4 to 3.59--cum laude
3.6 to 3.79--magna cum laude
3.8 to 4.0--summa cum laude
Phi Theta Kappa and Chi Alpha Epsilon: Graduates who have been inducted into the Omicron Theta chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and/or the Epsilon Chi chapter of the Chi Alpha Epsilon Honor Society will have a written notation on their diplomas.
