Born and raised in the Midwest, Dawn Bond grew up fascinated by the role of an artist as a unique and vital voice. She set off into the world and looked for what would become her voice. Printmaking studies, a brief career as a graphic designer, and living abroad as a U.S. Peace Corps volunteer all shaped her values and perspectives. These events led Bond to graduate school (Master of Fine Arts in Inter-Related Media, Towson University) and inform her artwork today. She thrives on the processes involved in art making and on sharing these processes with students.
