Get a world-class studio arts education at an unbeatable price. You’ll choose from a broad range of visual arts classes in drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, printmaking and more. You’ll enjoy our state-of-the-art facilities, including studio spaces for drawing; printmaking facilities for intaglio, litho, relief and screenprinting; and an amazing ceramics studio that supports various glazes and raku. You’ll be taught by top-notch faculty who  exhibit their work regionally, nationally and internationally. The best part? Many of our students transfer to elite art schools when they finish our program.


Transfer Degrees

The Visual Arts department is proud to offer the following Associate of Arts (A.A.) in this area of study. As an additional transfer option, AACC has the unique Transfer Studies degree. Both degrees will prepare you to transfer to a four-year institution. Whichever path you choose, we encourage you to meet with an advisor and structure your AACC studies to meet your specific transfer goals.

Studio Arts, Visual Arts Transfer, A.A.

This degree provides the fundamental foundation in the visual arts to prepare you to transfer to a four-year college, university or art school to pursue a bachelor's degree in the visual arts. In addition to the ability to transfer credits toward a bachelor's degree at a four-year school, you will have the skills to pursue entry-level positions in art galleries, community arts education, and apprenticeships or internships with professional artists.
