RLT-500 Real Estate Principles
This course satisfies the Maryland Licensed Home Inspector requirement of 72 hours of training and will cover the basic residential construction standards and processes, the home inspection process and inspection techniques, and defect recognition. Upon successful completion of this course, the learner will be better prepared to take the National Home Inspector Exam.

Students taking noncredit classes don't need to apply for admission to AACC. Just check out our course search, choose a program or course that interests you, register and make your payment. Registration for summer courses is open. Registration for fall 2026 opens July 14! Please check course availability prior to registration.
