But we can still connect! During one of the most challenging, yet redefining moments of your life, we're here for you with flexible, personalized support, small classes and caring faculty.
Let us tell you more.
What do we mean by "adult learner"? An adult learner could be a 22-year-old who joined the workforce out of high school and now wants a degree; a 30-year-old, stay-at-home dad whose kids just started school full-time; or a 38-year-old professional who would like to change careers.
We know these working adults have different challenges and needs, so we've crafted services and information sessions just for them.
Through our partnerships with Anne Arundel County public and private high schools, our admissions team works with prospective students and families throughout the school year. During the current crisis, we've moved some of these events online. More will be coming.
High school juniors who are interested in taking college courses while in high school, can take advantage of a 50 percent tuition reduction at AACC. Eligible students can also apply for the Early College Access Program Grant (ECAG), providing $200 per semester in the fall and spring. Students will attend a virtual AACC information session to learn more about the numerous benefits of the Early College Access Program. Parents are welcome to attend.
Personal Registration Day (PRD) offers juniors and seniors the opportunity to meet with an AACC representative to discuss academic and career options, complete course selection and register for classes. To participate, students first need to talk with an AACC Admissions officer to review the steps and requirements. Parents are welcome to attend.
