AACC offers an Associate of Science degree in Kinesiology, as well as a certificate and letter of recognition programs in Personal Training. You’ll work with experienced faculty to prepare for a career in the health promotion and fitness industry. For current professionals, the degree or certificate programs will enhance your knowledge and skills.

These courses prepare students for national certifications and are offered at a variety of locations, at flexible times (like evenings and weekends) and in online, face-to-face and hybrid formats.

The Health, Fitness and Exercise Studies department is proud to offer the Associate of Science (A.S.) in Kinesiology. This degree will prepare you to transfer to a four-year institution. We strongly encourage you to meet with an advisor to structure your AACC studies to meet your specific transfer goals.

Are you looking for a meaningful career in the health and fitness industry with significant job opportunities? AACC’s Associate of Science (A.S.) degree is a 60-credit program that offers students face-to-face practice with professional faculty.

This 17-credit certificate is designed to provide students with a background and hands-on experience in basic exercise principles, health screening, fitness assessments, nutrition, communication and exercise design within the current fitness industry standards.
