What will it cost?

The program costs $2,755 for Anne Arundel County residents, including tuition and fees.


What are the requirements?

  • Must be at least 16 years old
  • Microsoft Excel software skills
  • Possess a high school diploma or GED
  • Experience in the construction industry is recommended to be successful in the training, but not required 

What credentials will I earn?

Students receive Continuing Education Units and a Certificate of Completion.

A carpenter repairs, constructs and installs building frameworks and structures made from wood and other materials. This pre-apprenticeship program is designed for you to gain on-the-job experience with classroom lab instruction.
