Anne Arundel Community College's continuing education human resource training course is taught by highly credentialed, experienced instructors. We are partnered with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) to offer this nationally recognized program that demonstrates to employers that you've acquired a valuable body of knowledge. The program costs $1,281 for Anne Arundel County residents, including tuition and fees.


What credentials can I earn?

You can prepare for the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) designation by taking continuing education coursework at AACC. AACC offers both classroom and online courses. Learn more about the benefits of SHRM Certification.

Upon successful completion, students also earn an AACC continuing education certificate: Professional Human Resource Management (CE.PROF-HR-MGMT).

How to Register

Continuing education students don't need to apply for admission to AACC. Just check out our course search and choose a program or course that interests you, register and make your payment. Winter and spring term registration is now open. Registration for summer 2026 opens April 14!

If you have previously taken classes at AACC, you will need to log in using your AACC account. New students will be able to create a temporary account in the checkout process.
