To prevent the further spread of COVID-19, all classes and student services will be delivered remotely with the aid of technology through the end of the spring term on May 22. We want to make sure you have everything you need! We've compiled a list of resources available to you so that you can be successful on the go.

Accessing Free WiFi

Need access to the internet to complete your classwork? Comcast is offering free WiFi and internet access for a limited period of time. Visit Comcast's COVID-19 response page for information.

Accessing Outlook and Microsoft Office

Outlook

To access Outlook email, log in to MyAACC with your username and password. Click on Unread emails in the Unread Messages webpart or download this Technology - Accessing Microsoft which contains detailed information.

Microsoft Office

To access Microsoft Office, log in to MyAACC with your username and password. Click on the Office 365 Pro Plus button or download this Technology - Accessing Microsoft for detailed information.

Managing Your Password

MyAACC is the college’s student portal, meaning only authorized users can access the site. All AACC students, faculty and staff use the Password Management tool to update their password and manage verification options. Using this tool, you are able to manage your password at any time, 24/7, without reliance on the AACC Technical Call Center.

Please be sure to update your contact information using the Password Management tool whenever your information changes.

Registering for Classes

Make sure your classes don't fill up! The simplest and most straightforward way to register for your classes is through your MyAACC account. Be sure to register as early as possible – no one is given priority registration, so popular courses fill up fast.

Register for Credit Classes

You must register for class before the first scheduled class meeting. Instructions on registering for credit classes is found on our credit registration page.

Register for Noncredit Classes

Noncredit registration is open for each course until that course begins. Both new and returning students are able to register for classes online. Information regarding registering for noncredit classes can be found on our noncredit registration page.

Requesting a Transcript

Need to get a transcript? You can request a certified e-transcript that will be processed and delivered the same day.

For instructions on how to request a transcript, visit our request a transcript page.

Accessing Canvas

AACC uses a learning management system (LMS) called Canvas to deliver all credit (and some noncredit) on-campus, online and hybrid courses. This is the primary location for accessing your class when learning remotely. It is also where you can find class reminders, assignments and resources that are available to you. Canvas even has a mobile app!

Visit our Canvas Learning Management System page if you're having any trouble accessing it on your desktop or mobile phone.

Finding Software Discounts

One of the perks of being part of the AACC community is that we offer students, faculty and staff a select number of software titles at significant discounts.

You will need to log in to MyAACC with your username and password. From the menu in the upper left-hand corner, select Self Services. From there you will see all of our software discounts.

Getting Electronic Devices

If you're dealing with unreliable technology or your device is no longer working, we might be able to help!

We have a few ways to get electronic devices for your classes:

  • The AACC Bookstore has several devices in stock priced with an academic discount built in. The bookstore is offering free shipping for all online orders to assist students at a distance. For information email websales@aacc.edu.
  • Students may be eligible for technology/device assistance through the college’s Helplink program. For information email studenthelplink@aacc.edu
  • Truxal Library has a limited number of loaner devices available for direct shipment to students. Email your request to Circdesk@aacc.edu
