Although our physical doors at AACC are currently closed, the Office of Student Engagement (OSE) will continue services for students, faculty and staff.

In collaboration with internal and external partners, the OSE encourages student learning and engagement through diverse activities designed to help all students realize their full potential. The OSE promotes student growth and development by providing opportunities for student organization and leadership development, participation in campus governance, social and cultural development, and advocacy.

Our team is working remotely from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday to assist you. We have modified delivery of many of our programs and services to support social distancing and to remain compliant with state directives to protect public health and safety. We are also implementing new opportunities for staying connected.

What We Do

Emergency Services

Food Pantry

Student Engagement is a distribution partner of the Maryland Food Bank. Our campus pantry at AACC, created in partnership with the Maryland Food Bank, provides food to individuals and families in our community.

We are currently offering AACC food pantry services remotely, through delivery of nonperishable, shelf-stable items. Students, faculty and staff experiencing food insecurity may request a one-time or weekly deliveries. Inquiries and sign-up requests may be sent via email to Delivery boxes will include nutritious staples such as pasta, peanut butter, canned tuna, canned vegetables and other items. We're working to ensure we have an adequate supply of emergency food available to meet an anticipated uptick in demand. If you have a dietary restriction, be sure to indicate that in your request.

If you have additional questions about food pantry services, email

Note: We will provide direct shipment to the AACC student, faculty or staff member. We are unable to ship food to your family or friends.

If you are experiencing unforeseen financial circumstances, you may request support from the HelpLink program. HelpLink awards are designed to offer short-term support to currently enrolled students who are at risk of being unable to complete their educational goals at AACC due to sudden or unexpected financial barriers, including those resulting from COVID-19 disruptions. Learn more about the HelpLink program.

Complete your HelpLink application.

HelpLink funds are provided in the form of direct and specific assistance. HelpLink awards will be mailed/shipped directly to students, and/or processed online to honor social distancing practices.
